TENANTS HARBOR – The annual Jackson Memorial Library book sale, located at 71 Main Street in Tenants Harbor, spans three different dates this year, organized around specific themes.
On July 17, library staff will kick off the sale with adult fiction and children’s books, as well as a bake sale and silent auction.
Mysteries, DVDs, puzzles and a treasure sale will follow on July 31.
The final event takes place on August 14 and includes non-fiction books, a raffle and a bake sale.
Each sale takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with books marked at 1/2 price from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The silent auction will feature a range of items, including original local artwork by Lauren Gill, Kathleen Fox, Christine Moses and Ed Botkin.
A lobster boat cruise, an acoustic guitar and a Jane Derbyshire silk scarf complete the collection. Viewing and auctioning of items will be available during library hours of July 1–17. The auction ends at 2 p.m. on July 17.

The raffle items will be on display by July 2. Raffle tickets cost $ 2 each, 6 for $ 10 and can be purchased at JML by cash, check or credit card. An exceptional range of raffle items include donations from Puffins Nest, Green with Envy Salon, Ancho Honey, Dip Net, Hamilton Marine, Pam Kowalt wreaths, Threadbare baby blankets, McLoon’s and many more.

The library is open Monday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
