The Friends of the Jackson County Public Library will have their bimonthly sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Seymour Library meeting room, 303 W. Second St.
Special sales reserved for Friends members take place from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Buyers in the room will be limited due to social distancing guidelines and masks are encouraged. If Jackson County turns red on the Indiana COVID-19 dashboard today, it will be the last day of regular service before the library is open for computers / copies / faxes by appointment and drive-thru and curbside service.
Regular selling prices for the items are hardcover books for adults, soft-bound books and music CDs for $ 1, books for children and young adults and small paperbacks for 50 cents, and DVDs for $ 2 .
Anyone unable to visit the sale may shop from the ongoing sales in the Seymour Library Book Corner or the Crothersville and Medora Library sales carts during regular hours. Donations for sales are accepted during normal library hours.
Anyone interested in becoming a Friends member or renewing their annual membership can find the forms for sale, at checkouts, or online at myjclibrary.org/friends. The annual membership fee is $ 5 for individuals, $ 10 for families, $ 25 for the donor and $ 50 for the benefactor.
The next sale will be on November 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with sales reserved for Friends members from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on November 12 and from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on November 13.
