Used Rotary Book Sale April 1-10

The hallways of the Nanaimo North Town Center have been transformed into shelves for the city’s largest book sale.

The Rotary Used Book Sale kicked off Friday, April 1 and runs through April 10 at the mall. Fiction—including classics, romance, and science fiction—can be found in hardcover, trade paperback, and mainstream paperback formats in mall hallways, and other vacant retail spaces have been filled with non-fiction and children’s books.

“Prepare your reading wishlist or simply explore the thousands of books available to see what catches your eye,” noted a post on social media from the Rotary Club of Nanaimo.

All books are $3 each, except for consumer paperbacks, which are $2.50 each, and children’s books and cookbooks, which are $3 per inch.

Proceeds from book sales are donated to the Rotary Club’s charitable efforts.
