Friends of the Hudson Area Library to Host Book Sale | Local Ads


HUDSON – After too long a hiatus, the Friends of the Hudson’s Area Library are delighted to organize a book sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 4 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 5 in the room Community Library of the Hudson Area, 51 North Fifth Street, Hudson. This is a great opportunity to restock your reading shelf and purchase new and lightly used books (most books cost $ 1.00 or less!) On a variety of subjects including art books as well. only CDs and DVDs.

The Friends used their time during the pandemic to update and sort our book carts; the selection has been updated for the reading pleasure of customers. Chocolate bars from Vasilow’s Confectionary will also be available at this event. So come support the library, get the unique book, DVD or CD you were looking for and didn’t know, grab a chocolate bar and support the Hudson area library. To ensure everyone’s safety, social distancing, face masks and contact tracing will be necessary.

The library’s mission is to enrich the quality of life by providing free and equal access to programs, services and resources, and by creating opportunities for all members of our community to connect, create, learn and to grow up. All proceeds from the sale will benefit friends and enhance contributions to the Hudson’s area library. Founded in 1999, the Friends of the Hudson’s Area Library contributes to the library’s collections, programming and additional library needs.
